Gone For A Week

July 27, 2007 · Leave a Comment

We are leaving today to go to Pennsylvania. I will be preaching at a family camp. I doubt that there will be an Internet connection, so I will not be able to blog for a week. Please pray that all goes well, and that my family and I can be a blessing to these people.

Salesmen

July 26, 2007 · Leave a Comment

Lina and I went car shopping yesterday, and boy I had forgotten how much fun that is. It started of with the first salesman telling me that he did not know the price of the s.u.v that we liked. He said that we had to go “inside” to find out. I asked him if he had ever sold a car before, or even had someone look at the same type of vehicle? To make a longggggg story short we did not buy from that dealer. Finally we found a Kia van that we liked , so we bought it. The funny thing was the salesman at this dealership started to pull the same stunt, but when I told him that we had just left another place for the same reason, he changed his tune. This does not count the other place that we went to. There, we were hearded through the sales office like animals. Then when I explained to the nice young lady, who so eagerly greeted us at the front, that we were just there to look, we still were chased down by a blood thirsty salesman. O well, at  least we came home with something nice.

July 25, 2007 · 1 Comment

My wife and I are celebrating 15 years of marriage today. All I can say is, it has been a wonderful ride. I don’t know how she puts up with me, but she does a great job. I hope that we still  have a long life ahead of us. Thanks honey , I love you.

Faith

The other day when I was buying carpet, Ellen, the secretary that checked me out, had this  saying on her desk, and I thought it was worthy of passing on.   WORRY LOOKS AROUND, SORRY LOOKS BACK, FAITH LOOKS UP, HAVE FAITH!

My brother and I put down carpet in our house Saturday. I have never been so sore. At least it is done. Hopefully we can have it on the market this week.

Carpet

July 20, 2007 · Leave a Comment

Myself and a good friend of mine, Steven Littlefield went to Dalton to purchase some carpet. We found a great deal and brought it home, only to find out that I had bought too much. O well, I guess we learn from our mistakes. Tomorrow my brother and I are going to put the carpet down, and then put the house on the market. Hope it sells soon.
